The Details

I-95 tolls

I-95 spans the East Coast of the US. It’s the main highway almost parallel to the Atlantic Ocean. It passes through 15 states – the route is 1,915 miles long – from Florida to Maine. While traveling on the I-95, you will pass many major cities such as Boston, New York, Baltimore, Richmond, Washington D.C., Jacksonville, Philadelphia, and Miami. Most sections of this toll road calculate tolls rates depending on how much traffic is on the road at the time.

Interstate 95 – overview

I-95, or Interstate 95, runs from US 1 in Miami, Florida to the Houlton-Woodstock Border Crossing. It’s the main north-south Interstate Highway on the East Coast of the US. It’s not a secret that I-95 is now one of the busiest and most popular highways in the entire country. Millions of people use it daily as it’s a critical transportation connector for the majority of the East Coast population, facilitating easy automotive travel between communities along the route. I-95 also offers many amazing tourism opportunities. As Interstate 95 is approximately 1,915 miles long, it takes around 30 hours and 35 minutes of straight driving time to complete. The route is one of the oldest routes of the Interstate Highway System. Many sections incorporated some old toll roads where they served the same right-of-way. All current facilities are compatible with the E-ZPass electronic payment system.
