Construction on the realignment of the 183A Tollway in Williamson County is now half completed, the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority reported in March.

The plastic toll bags, used for 30 years, reach their expiration date on Friday, Jan. 27, requiring a replacement by the end of the month, Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission General Manager, Carlton Dufrechou told WGNO ABC.
Dufrechou believes drivers will be satisfied with the multi-purpose role of the new windshield stickers.
“These are much more effective, and in the long run, they’re not only more reliable, but they will be interactive with tags if you go to Texas or Florida or other toll roads,” Dufrecho expressed to WGNO ABC.
“That’s going to depend on when the United States government and the states get together, but the new technology is all there.” Drivers may visit the North Shore or South Shore tag offices to purchase a new toll tag.
