My license plate was damaged/lost/stolen. What should I do?
If your license plate was lost or stolen, you need to take preventative measures to make sure that no one attempts to use your plate on toll roads and get coverage for your vehicle under a replacement license plate. If your license plate was damaged, you will also need to follow the same steps to replace it both physically and on your Uproad account.
Contact the department of motor vehicles that issued your license plate and order a replacement.
Report your license plate as lost, stolen, or damaged to the agency that issued your license plate. This will protect you should someone attempt to use your license plate on a different vehicle.
Order a replacement plate. You are still responsible for any tolls incurred while driving on toll roads.
Remove your vehicle from the Uproad app.
Your Uproad account is linked to your license plate. You will need to delete the vehicle from your account entirely.
To do this, select “Vehicles” from the main menu. Select the vehicle with the missing/damaged license plate and then select “Delete” to remove it from your account.
Replace your license plate and update your account.
Once you receive a replacement license plate, you will need to add your new vehicle and plate information using the new plate information.
Go back to "Vehicles" in the app and add your new vehicle and plate information. Within 24 hours, we'll register your new plate with toll agencies and let you know when your new vehicle is ready to hit the road!
